New & Used- Items listed will have New or Used next to it. Since we are a store and not just a website, most items have been handled. Since we offer a 7 day return policy, some items (including Bits) have been tried, but will still be considered New. Some model horses with no box will be listed as New if they came originally without a box, since some Special Runs were never issued with a box. Books will be listed as New even if they have been handled, but any flaws such as a stain or creased cover will be noted. Items may vary slightly from photo. We reserve the right to substitute an out of stock item with an item of similar quality. You will be notified if this is not possible. We do Not do Backorders.
Consignments- We love consignments! It allows us to offer quality items to you at a lower than new price and keeps our stock of items fresh & interesting! Anything horse related is accepted, with the exception of used clothing that is Out of Style(this usually only applies to Western style Show clothing) or tack that is broken. We can repair most horse clothing, riding clothes, etc, but we do Not do repairs to tack, although we will take broken tack that can be used for parts. Rates- Consignment fee is 25% for items selling over $10, and 50% on items selling for $10 & under. Anything we have to clean or repair before selling is charged 50% fee. Items can be left on consignment indefinitely, unless we ask you to remove them. Payment to you for items sold is by check, or you can leave money on account with us to be used towards purchases. No payments to you are made in cash. If you choose to remove your item from consignment with us, there is a $1 per item removal fee for each smaller item & a $5 removal fee for each saddle or larger item.
returns must be made within 7 days of delivery to you. You will receive a
refund of the final invoice price of the item(minus shipping and handling charges
and a 20% restocking fee). Buyer is responsible for return shipping
costs and for sufficiently packing and insuring returned items unless
otherwise agreed upon. Items must be returned with all original tags
still attached & in the same condition in which it was sent out.
Refunds will not be issued for damaged or untagged merchandise.
Payment Forms Accepted- Visa/MC is fastest & preferred. Money Order, Cashiers Check are accepted, but item will not ship until payment clears our bank. Personal Checks & Paypal are not accepted.
Shipping- We will use whatever form is fastest & cheapest for your item. Items may be shipped US Postal 1st Class, Media Mail, Parcel Post, Priority Mail, Flat Rate Mail, or UPS Ground. Due to new shipping rates for postal, we can not determine your shipping rates without boxing items. This is more cost effective for you. We charge actual shipping plus $2.95 Handling Charge per order, orders from or shipping to outside the US will be actual shipping plus $4.95 Handling Charge. Insurance is extra & optional, but will be required on breakable items. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in shipping without insurance. We also try to use recycled shipping materials whenever possible to help our environment.
