Highly polished stainless steel spurs with an extra wide 1 1/2" band and a 3" long slight inwardly curved shank with ball or blunt end. The humane knob end replaces a rowel. The spurs serve the same purpose as traditional spurs-communication with the horse as a horse does not require pain to prompt the proper response. Spur features 3" boot opening. Equitation Spurs Western Spurs Long Neck Western Show Spurs Engraved Silver Overlay Basketweave Tooled Western Spur Straps
Stainless Steel, German Silver? Sterling?
Highly polished stainless steel spurs with wide 1 1/2" band with engraved silver buttons on outside & brass buttons on the inside, and a 2 7/8" long(3 1/4" including rowel) slight inwardly curved shank and 9 long square point rowels. 2 5/8” opening for boot at widest, with 1 opened slightly more. Silver may be sterling or German silver overlay on outside of band & shank, & does not look like the cheap stuff. Edges of silver look hammered to conform with stainless steel part(see photo). Comes with used basketweave tooled leather spur straps in good usable condition with stainless steel buckles. Dark oil spur straps measure almost 12" long at longest adjustment & tooling is faint/light. Brand unknown, only marked China on inside of buttons.
