Vintage Shawn Faust Steeplechase Horse Print Point To Point At Winterthur May 4 1997 Thoroughbred Horse Racing Horse Jumping 1997 Steeplechasing Event DuPont Estate Wilmington Delaware

This framed print is a great vintage item of horses jumping a fence in the May 4, 1997 steeplechasing event held on the DuPont estate Winterthur, north of Wilmington, DE. In a conversation with the artist, he says these prints were commissioned yearly and the posters sold at the event. Image itself is 23 1/2” wide x 18 3/4” high, & is framed inside a brown wood frame. Frame measures 25 1/2” wide x 20 3/4” high, was professionally framed, has paper backing, wire for hanging, & has glass. Wood frame has some dings & scuffs, & paper backing has a few minor dings as well. Lovely addition to collectors of TB racehorse prints or Winterthur Point To Point memorabilia.

Framed & matted print by Marianne Caroselli showing a cowboy & his son saddling 2 horses by the barn with a little girl feeding chickens & a goat in the barnyard, & a windmill in the background. Measures 28 1/4" long x 22 1/2" high with silver tone metal frame, tan mat, & print itself measures 23 3/4" wide x 18" high. Comes with glass & wire in back for hanging. Print has signature M. Caroselli on bottom right corner. This print was reframed as original glass was broken leaving a few small white scratches/marks on the print in the clouds, sky between leaves of the tree, bush on right side & near the squirrel in bottom left corner. This glass has a 2" crack on bottom right corner but glass is not loose. When we reached out to Ms Caroselli regarding the name of the print, this was her response, "I don't remember the name of this, did it about 20 years ago. Always got family members to pose with our horses. and I took pictures of old barns and chickens. Fun painting I did. Marianne".

Great for the dog lover or collectors of dalmatian items. Came from a collector of dalmatian items with proceeds from sale going to our local rescue.

Signature on print is visible & is dated '08. Info directly from the artist: "This print is an open edition print of my original watercolor painting that I painted somewhere around 2005 titled Horses in the Snow. I live in Hanover PA where the Hanover Shoe Farms is located and they breed standardbred trotting horses and their fields are widespread on the western skirts of Hanover. I used one of my many photographs as reference of the horses and painted the watercolor which measured 20x28". New in plastic sleeve.

This is a real matted & framed 9” x 12” print of fox hunting, not a cheap computer scan & depicts a red coated rider on a dappled grey horse riding with 4 fox hounds in a forest. This is stamped on the back Unique Art Distributing, Olney, MD, & is old enough there is no area code with the phone number listed. Artist, nor date is known, possibly a vintage piece, but it is professionally matted & framed, so we do not want to take it apart to see if it is signed or dated. Has #51 in pencil on back. Comes with golden mat inside 9x12 golden brushed metal frame with glass, & wire hanger across entire back for ease in hanging. Image measures approx 7 3/8” wide x 5 3/4” high, mat takes up rest of frame. Matches G202.

No. 1-2510 & in right bottom corner Litho in USA. Artist's signature is on the print & it looks like M. Prill, but cannot tell & can find no artists name similar. Print is 12” x 12” & is attached to a heavy cardboard backing fitted into a wooden frame with glass. Back of frame originally had paper backing over all, but that has been removed although it still adheres to wood frame edges. Saw tooth hanger at top in back. Overall measurement including frame is 14 1/4” x 14 1/4”. Frame has some scuffs, dings & scratches, a few age spots on print. Print matches G209, buy both for $40.

Daniel Gill Abstract Print Horse & Child with Blue Ribbon QH Show Horse Print
Abstract print by Daniel Gill of a blonde child(girl?, boy?) holding the lead of a stock breed type horse, looks like a chestnut Quarter Horse(QH), with a large blue ribbon pinned to the front of their shirt. Framed in a new plastic poster frame with protective plastic film still on front that gets peeled off. Measures approx 16 1/4” wide x 20 1/4” high, print/poster got creased across top half(can be seen in photo) before we received it, which is why we framed it. Makes a nice print/poster for barn, childs room, etc.

Levi Strauss Advertising Poster Museum of American Jewish History Exhibit Framed Poster
An exhibit poster announcing Pioneers And Adventurers: Jews Across The Plains & Rockies 1810-1900, a sepia toned old Levi Strauss & Co Overalls ad in the center, Museum Of American Jewish History, with the address in Philadelphia, PA, & the hours the museum was open. This plain paper poster is framed in a brushed metal frame, but the glass was broken, so it does not come with glass. Measures 17 1/4” wide x 22 1/4” high. A few small dark spots splattered throughout & paper poster has some wrinkles, which may flatten out, especially if you put glass on it again. Back has 2 metal triangles for hanging wire, but no wire attached. Do not know age of poster, owner bought this at a sale several years ago.

This framed & matted print is a great vintage item, with the artist's name is G. Wright in the bottom right corner. It depicts the mounted hunters jumping a fence & ditch, one having fallen in the ditch & is getting out. George Wright (1850 -1942) was an English artist, born near Leeds. He exhibited at The Royal Academy from 1892 on. He was known for painting superb equestrian portraits and very good action pictures, particularly of fox hunting and coaching. He was one of the best sporting painters of his time. Image itself is 6 3/4” high x 10” wide with a white border, then a hunter green thin border, then a burgundy & hunter green border, then a hunter green matte inside a brown wood frame with painted gold rim & painted black detail on outer rim. Frame measures 14 1/2” high x 17 1/2” long. Wood frame has some dings & scuffs, cardboard backing has brand sticker Decorel Fine Art. Inside glass needs to be cleaned, but we didn't want to take it apart. Exact age of print unknown. Matches framed print G213.

This framed & matted print is a great vintage item, with the artist's name is G. Wright in the bottom right corner. It depicts the mounted hunters galloping across a hill to the hounds.
