Vintage 10” diameter commemorative plate depicting Chincoteague Island & the pony swim made famous by Marguerite Henry's book Misty. Has images of the pony swim, Misty, Cloudy, Pancho, & the Assateague Lighthouse on the front & brief history of the island on the back. Marked Fine American Ironstone, under glaze-detergent and oven proof. Unfortunately this is undated, but owner has had in a box for many years & thinks it was from the 1970's. Mint/new condition, no chips or flaws that we can find.

Tagged inside Style N6 60CE X, Size AD J(Adult Junior?), Lining L6, Chin Strap C7. Some scratches & marks on helmet, hardware on chin strap is corroded & foam liner for forehead is deteriorated.
