68” CF BMB Turnout Style Stable Sheet Cotton Duck Sheet Small Horse Burgundy/Tan
BMB
The term "duck”, describes the style of yarn construction and type of fabric that have been used for many years in horse sheets. Contemporary duck sheets are usually a cotton/polyester blend or perhaps acrylic, chosen for their attributes of durability, dye fastness, and limited shrinkage. In most parts or the country these sheets can be used while trailering, after a bath, or as evening attire on cool nights. This stable sheet has closed front with 1 belly surcingle & rear leg straps. Has fitted rear & a Dee ring at withers for attaching a hood. Tagged 78” & 78 is written in pen on front trim right under neck, but it flat measures approx 66”. This was either mis-tagged by BMB, or it shrank with washing, but this sheet is in excellent condition & looks like it was used once. Has some loose white hairs on inside & a couple or rust drip spots on top of rump(from inside a horse trailer?), otherwise like new.

Curvon Baker Blanket?
Open front unlined single layer tightly woven plaid fabric stable blanket with crossed belly surcingles, D rings for rear leg straps(straps not included), tapered neck with D rings for hood attachment, & fitted/tapered/cutback rear. Not tagged that we can find it should be the same thing as a Baker Blanket. Heavy blanket even though this is 1 layer & these blankets are very sturdy. Flat measures approx 66" & should fit 68" to 70" as butt is shaped to allow for tail. A few small snags or frays but no holes, a few frays to surcingles, but it is clean.

Cotton mesh, very stretchy, single buckle closure in front. Size was not listed on this, but it shown on a narrow 14.2h gaited horse that wears a 68". Has a 38” drop(distance from back seam to hem). Great for bathing or cooling out horse after workout. Wicks moisture away from body. Can be worn with blanket over top. Front strap end is frayed a bit otherwise excellent used condition.

For over 100 years, this is the stable blanket known worldwide for its traditional good looks and "tough as nails" durability. The triple weave fabric lasts for years and years. The Baker is made with contour cut styling for improved fit. The extra close weave prevents body heat from escaping. These blankets come with double buckle front closures with metal grommet reinforced holes. Still "branded inside" for authenticity.
