Beautifully crafted from supple, butter soft leather. This bridle is a Pelham bridle so it has 2 sets of flat reins. It is a smooth flat 1/2” leather with hook studs so they can easily be attached to the bit. Cheeks measure 11” & reins approx 50” long, both have buckle centers. Stamped on caveson in tiny letters Japan, but looks & feels like the finest leather from England. *Please note bit is not included.

Use on Arabians, Morgans, Gaited horses for Saddleseat or use for Dressage. Hook stud ends, 10” cheeks. Very nice for the price! Nice enough for the show ring yet practical enough for training use.

Vintage English Pelham Bridle Horse Flat English Bridle with Flat Reins Dark Brown Horse
Vintage flat leather English bridle with 2 sets of flat reins, a 7/16" wide with a buckle center 5& a 5/8" wide with broken end at buckle center. This came off a vintage Kangaroo pelham bit & was stitched on so no buckles or hook stud ends. 1” wide flat leather caveson, & 5/8" wide browband. We only cut stitching, not the leather ends, so can be restitched. Not stamped as to maker, but is probably a vintage bridle made in England. Bridle leather is supple & still functional, but because it has to be stitched onto a bit, we are selling this as a decoration item. Great to cut down to put on a carousel or large rocking horse, or as a wall hanger. Some cracking to areas on browband, cheeks, etc so not recommending for riding use. Selling in AS IS condition.

Weymouth Bridle Full Bridle Double Bridle English Bridle with Snaffle & Curb Reins Mullen Mouth Weymouth & Bradoon Bits Horse
This double bridle, also called a full bridle or Weymouth bridle, has two bit hangers/headstalls and 2 sets of reins, 1/2” & 5/8” that both have buckle centers. Headstalls are 3/8” wide flat leather with darkened edges. Use on Arabians, Morgans, Gaited horses for Saddleseat. Hook stud ends. This is missing a caveson & looks like bridle has been pieced together- stitched flat Western brow band, metal bridle rosettes, Western throatlatch, 2 sets of bit hangers instead of English crown piece(so this adjusts on 1 side only). Comes with mullen mouth Weymouth(Never Rust?) with mouthpiece that measures just shy of 5" with 5" shank(not including loose rein rings) & a 5" Eggbutt Bradoon Snaffle bit(stainless steel) with 2 1/4" high rings, curb chain & leather lip strap. One cheek piece has been riveted together just below buckle as a repair, instead of stitched. All you need for working, just add your own caveson. Great as a training bridle! Bits alone are worth $45 or more. Can separate if you want a certain bit or just the headstall. Not marked, brand unknown.
