3/4” wide leather western split reins approx 1/4” thick, 6 1/2' long, & brass Conway buckles at bit end. A bit stiff & creases in leather from being tied at one end, but should relax with conditioning or just re-tie them. Brand unknown but good quailty sturdy leather.

Big Horn Cowboy Tuff Black Nylon Western Reins Synthetic Western Split Reins 3/4" x 6'
Tuffy, Cowboy Tuff, Big Horn
Soft 3/4” nylon reins that have a simple loop through style end with no buckles & measures, almost 6' long. Easy to add snaps on ends for quick changes. Originally came with a Cowboy Tuff/Tuffy headstall, but headstall sold. Excellent condition, only some very minor fraying to edges.

Tagged Softy Split Reins, these braided or plaited leather reins will be a favorite to use for pleasure, trail, work or gaming. 3/4” wide x 1/2" thick square braided black paracord reins approx 27' long with latigo leather string popper ends. Ends are heat sealed neatly. Can be used with snaffle bit or a bosal, or even as a lunge line or horsemanship rope. Comfortable in your hands, great for breaking young horses. Brand unknown. Poly Mecate Reins Heavy Rope Reins Bosal Snaffle Bit Western Reins Black 3/4” x 11 1/2'
3/4” wide heavy black poly rope reins approx 11 1/2' long with latigo leather string popper ends, so it can be used with snaffle bit or a bosal. Comfortable in your hands, great for breaking young horses. Owner who brought this to us thought it was a natural horsemanship lead, but there is no way to hook in a snap & rope is a little thick to try to tie onto a halter, so would make better reins. Very soft in your hands but is heavy to encourage horse to keep it's head down. Shorter length great for Arabians & shorter necked horses. One end of latigo leather poppers have chew marks. Brand unknown.

Could be considered weighted reins as they are heavy & aid in reminding the horse to keep his head down. 5/8" wide x 8' long x 1/4" thick. Great heavy duty training or using reins. These were light oil that have darkened slightly from use, exposure to sun & sweat. Brand unknown but quality similar to Tory, Weaver or Circle Y. 2 sets available.

Leather at bit ends has darkened from contact with bit & are a bit dry, but doesn't crack when tightly bent & otherwise leather is supple. Great training or using reins. Weaver Leather Pretty in Pink Collection is a favorite with women who ride horses. Rather than excessive amounts of pink tack, just enough bling for good taste is added to great English Bridle leather split reins. Fancy etched Chicago screws at bit ends with light rose Swarovski Crystals set in pewter rings & etched nickel over brass spots give a fashionable flair. Reins measure approx 5/8" wide x 7 1/2'(marked as 7' on tag) in light oil leather with rubbed & darkened edges. New with all tags but wasn't stored the best so some areas of light discoloration to leather which may level out with oiling.
