5/8” wide harness leather western split reins with tear drop shaped water loop ends with nickel or silver dots, engraved silver conchos, is 3/16" thick & 7' long. Conchos are stamped on back but unreadable, but looks like Montana Silversmith type siler. Sturdy yet supple quality leather with rubbed edges. Not marked but should be Shutz Bros brand. Excellent used condition & just has some minor discoloration to the water loops from contact with the bit. Almost look new.

Wenger Leather Works
5/8” wide harness leather western split reins with water loop & tie ends, 3/16" thick & 7' long. Tail ends are cut thicker(approx 1/4") so they are heavier & will lay better. Sturdy yet supple quality leather with rubbed edges. Excellent used condition & just has some minor discoloration to the water loops from contact with the bit. Could be used with headstall WHS182, also made by JR Wenger.

5/8” wide doubled & stitched nylon western split reins with southwestern print overlay on first 2' of reins, a little over 6 1/2' long, & conway buckle ends. Clean, some corrosion to conway buckles leaving a white mark on reins.

Circle Y 4735
5/8" wide leather western split reins approx 6 1/2' long with rubbed & darkened edges, & Chicago screws at bit ends. Stamped Circle Y 4735 on ends. Nice enough for show(add conchos at bit ends) & sturdy enough for every day use. Leather is sturdy yet supple with only some scuffs(see photo), otherwise excellent hardly used condition.

Odd Western Reins Wide Single Split Reins Replacement Reins Leather Lead Shank Leather Repair
Single leather split rein for replacement parts, leather repair projects, etc. Would make a great leather lead shank, just add replacement chain(we have them for $6.95-see HDW279 under halter/Leads pg 1) or a snap. Has Chicago screw & edges are rubbed & darkened. Measures 7/8” x over 7' long. Brand unknown. Leather is sturdy but flexible.

Poly Mecate Reins Bosal Rope Reins Horsehair Tassel Horse Hair Tassel End Black 1/2" x 23'
For use with a bosal, these 1/2” wide black poly rope reins are approx 23' long including leather popper on 1 end, & 5 1/2" long black horse hair tassel with braided natural rawhide ball. Comfortable in your hands, these coil & drape well, great for breaking young horses or use for showing. Brand unknown. New, but light colored leather poppers have some light staining or marks. There is a tie on horsehair to keep it neat, just remove before use.

5/8" wide leather western split reins with white contrast stitching for 1st 23", rubbed & darkened edges & Chicago screws at bit end. Just short of 6 1/2' long. Not marked but these are similar to Tough-1 or Showman brand. Some corrosion on 1 Chicago screw but it works, otherwise excellent lightly used condition.

Western Reins Leather Western Split Reins 5/8" x 8' Brown
5/8" wide doubled & stitched bridle leather western split reins with contrast stitching, rubbed edges & Chicago screws at bit end. Each rein has 5 etched "silver" screw on conchos that all have tarnish or corrosion on them & probably willnot clean upmuch. Reins are 7' long with an additional 1' long slapper or popper made of 2 pieces of thicker leather for a total length of 8'. Some chewed spots from horse(see bottom photo), 1 more than the other, but all are well past where your hands would hold reins & none make reins unsafe for use. Nice enough for trail, pleasure or training. Brand unknown but this is quality leather.
