Great book for a person looking for something a little different than the modern horse stories. It combines jumping, adventure, sabotage, polo, exotic places, racing, and a hearty dose of old-fashioned humor. As it was written many decades ago it reads differently than modern books, more like a cross between Hemingway and Dorothy Lyons. Full color cover(no dust jacket), wear to edges & spine, letters in FROG colored in & outlined in red, names written in pen inside front cover, copyright date of 1933 & the dedication are all circled in pen, top of pages are reddened & have a name written in pen when viewed from above with book closed.
