Leather Driving Harness Bridle Side Checks Driving Check Reins Black Harness Leather Anti-Grazing Reins
Leather side checks or side check reins for driving bridle. Rolled leather for rings to slide easily on, brass hardware, 5/8” flat leather with scored & rubbed edges, & sliding leather loop for hooking to harness saddle. Size unknown, but measures 6'4" at smallest adjustment with plenty of room to make larger. Not stamped as to maker. Can also be used on horses as an anti-grazing rein. Leather is supple but has flattened & stressed at area where it sat through the rings on bridle(see photo) & has surface crack on rein end. NO sliding straps with rings are included.

Driving Horse Harness Replacement Parts Trace Splice Leather Driving Harness Strap with Brass Buckles
Black leather strap with brass buckles on both ends. This strap is 1” wide x 8 1/2” long including buckles. Known as a Trace Splice, they're required equipment in a driver's spares kit. The idea is that if your traces break in the middle of a drive, you just have to punch two holes (one at each end of the break) and these pieces buckle into place and you're back on the road.

Draft Horse Harness Replacement Parts Leather Draft Driving Harness Strap with D Ring Girth Loop Strap English Western Saddle
Black leather strap with chrome dee ring. This strap is 3/4” wide x 3 1/2” long including D ring, with loop opening approx 1 1/2”. Came from a draft horse farm. Owner was clueless as to what this was used for, but best we can come with is a loop that slides on the girth strap to give you something to hook a martingale or tiedown to. This would also work on billet straps of English saddles or tie strap/billet strap of a Western saddle to allow you to attach a breast collar or training aids. 2 available, sold individually.

Measures approx 69” in circumfrence as adjusted now with room to make smaller or larger. Leather is in very good condition, flexible & not cracking. Single Horse Driving Lines Leather Pleasure Reins
Sturdy quality leather single horse driving lines with buckle at bit end. Measures approx 3/4” wide x alittle over 14' long, buckle in the middle. Need cleaning, but leather is supple. One small bad section in 1 rein or dry rot(see photo) that looks like a horse chew that stayed wet & then dry rotted, easily cut out & splice sewn in. One rein end has mouse chews(see photo), & there are a few horse chomps on other rein(same pix as bad spot in rein). Easy to have leather repair person add splices & fix rein end.
