Vintage Wade Whimsies Eagle Red Rose Tea China Eagle Figurine England

This is a vintage china eagle figurine. This porcelain figurine has a lovely glossy body in shades of tan. It measures approximately 1 1/2” tall x 1 1/8” long. Originally came in boxes of Red Rose Tea. Produced in England, Wade figurines first started appearing in Red Rose Tea in Canada in 1967. The figurines debuted in the United States in 1983, where one of 15 porcelain animal figurines was included in specially marked boxes of the tea. This set lasted until 1985, when it was replaced with a second animal set. This second set was probably the most popular of the American Red Rose Tea figurine sets, and it was certainly the longest running. U.S. Animal Series #2 was originally comprised of 15 figures: a koala, a giraffe, a rhinoceros, a polar bear, a monkey, an orangutan, a gorilla, a leopard, a tiger, a raccoon, a squirrel, a beaver, a kangaroo, a zebra, and a camel. Later in the set's run, five new figures were added: a pony, a rabbit, a kitten, a puppy, and a cockatoo. Although a new set of figurines was introduced in 1994, the animal set wasn't completely phased out until 1996, bringing its total production run to eleven years. Series IV – Endangered North American Animals (1999 & 2002), was the 4th series. The 10 figurines were the spotted owl, bald eagle, polar bear, peregrine falcon, humpback whale, Florida panther, manatee, green sea turtle, timber wolf and sturgeon. The series appeared between 1999 & 2002 and the last 7 molds were all new. There are no breaks or flaws that we can see. This would make a great little gift for any collector of Wade figures.

Vintage china horse figurine in glossy creamy tan with darker mane & tail, hand painted eyes, nostrils & lip line. Approx 3” tall x 6 1/4” long with small & large breather hole in belly. Not marked as to maker, so no idea how old this is. No cracks, breaks, crazing, etc. Great vintage piece.

Vintage carved stone horse or mule/donkey figurine standing, glossy alabaster? or similar stone. Approx 3 1/4” tall x 3 5/8” long. Not marked as to maker & no idea how old this is. No crazing chips or breaks that we can see. Great vintage piece.

Vintage Hagen Renaker #263 Elephant Mama Facing Left HR Mini China Ceramic Elephant Figurine

Vintage mini china elephant figurine. Dark shaded grey with white tusks & black eyes. Glossy finish. This is in the miniatures line. Sculpted by Maureen Love, approx 2 3/8” tall. Has removable paper card with Hagen-Renaker Inc, made in San Dimas, CA USA. Considered model #A-263. Missing 1/2 of left tusk, remnants of glue on feet from card. Believe this was released Fall 1955 and we think is still currently available, but this particular piece was bought in 1998. Great vintage piece.

Vintage Japan China Elephant Figurine
This is a vintage china elephant figurine. This porcelain figurine has a lovely glossy body in shades of off white & brown. It measures approximately 1 5/8” tall x 2 1/2” long. There is no color on the eyes, ears or mouth so almost looks unfinished but is glossed all over like it was finished. It is in very good vintage condition with some original defects & dark spots that are on the white but under the gloss, so was done during the making. There are holes on the bottom of 3 of the feet from the factory. There are no chips, cracks or repairs that we can see. This would make a great little gift for any collector of elephant figures.

Vintage Hagen Renaker #3264 Penguin Skating Style Two Upright HR Mini China Ceramic Penguin Figurine
Hagen Renaker, CA
Vintage mini china penguin figurine in black & white with dark yellow/orange beak & black eyes wearing brown/silver skates, light blue/lime green hat & scarf. Glossy finish. This is in the miniatures line. Sculpted by Helen Perrin Farnlund, approx 2” tall. Has glossy base. Considered model #A-3264 Style Two Upright. Believe this was released Spring 1998 to Fall 2001, but this particular piece was bought new from HR in the 1998. Great vintage piece. New, no breaks or flaws that we can see, only on display in our glass showcase, so remnants of price sticker on bottom of base. Was not released with a box.

Not marked as to maker, has a gold/red foil “Bone China, Taiwan” sticker on right side, & no idea how old this is. No crazing, breaks or other flaws that we can see. Great vintage piece.

Beautiful china horse figurine in shaded white/grey with black eyes hit with a touch of gloss, finished in a soft satin matte. Approx 5 1/2" tall x 6 1/2" long. Some hoof rubs, small dark mark on left hip area & is repaired at base & where it touches hind leg. Indistinct male parts underneath, has oval silver National Potteries, Cleveland O, Made in Japan sticker on belly, 248 stenciled into inside of left hind leg, but age unknown. Great vintage piece & a rare find.

Vintage rearing horse figurine in black with 4 white legs, blaze face, & hand painted eyes. Measures approx 6 1/2" tall x 5" wide, it has an oval silver foil sticker on bottom of base that reads A Napco Ceramic Japan & the numbers M451/m in black on bottom. Mint, no cracks, chips, breaks or crazing that we can see. A hard to find color in this piece.

This is a vintage china Horse figurine from the Red Rose Tea Collectible from the Pet Shop Series. Originally came in boxes of Red Rose Tea. Produced in England, Wade figurines first started appearing in Red Rose Tea in Canada in 1967.
