Beta Biothane English or Western Trail Bridle headstall, reins & breastplate set. Consists of 5/8" headstall attachment with conway buckles at bit ends, 3/4" halter with snap throat, 5/8" wide reins & adjustable breastplate. Headstall part unsnaps from halter part at browband so that bit can be removed allowing horse can be tied or graze without a bit in their mouth & without having to remove your whole head gear. The bit attachments are on the cheeks, allowing you to easily add or remove your bit when needed. Has all stainless steel hardware, reflective strips overlaid on safety chartruse color overlay & it is very adjustable to fit a variety of sizes. Easy to clean just simply soak in a bucket of soapy water, hose off & dry. Halter part measures almost 41" at smallest adjustment & 46" at largest adjustment, headstall part measures 37" at smallest & 50" at largest adjustment with a 20" long browband. Reins are almost 6' long with buckle center & conway buckles at bit ends. Breastplate side pieces are both adjustable with 6 factory punched holes on each side, near side has a trigger/scissor snap for easy on/off, & measures approx 25" on middle adjustment. Excellent used condition with only minor dirt & a few small marks(see photo). Brand unknown.

Set of Western headstall & breast collar set with two tone rawhide braid also known as California Braid, in natural/white & black. Crisscross Knot or Knotted brow headstall with silver buckles & keepers, etched Chicago screws at bit ends. Silver buckles are stamped Sterling overlay, Mexico, Fleming, GM13. Headstall is missing 1 silver keeper & 1 Chicago screw, but is in good used condition. Matching breast collar looks in like new condition & was only used a couple of times. Great set whether for showing or everyday riding. This company sadly is no longer in business, but they made quality equipment.

Vintage? Civil War Western Breastcollar Straight Western Breast Collar Large Brass Heart Center Military Cavalry Civil War Reenactors Breastcollar
Western breastcollar features thick straight 1 1/2" wide leather chest pieces with scored, rubbed & darkened edges, & large(3 3/4" wide x 4" high) brass heart in the center with shaped leather backing. Strap back to girth has been shortened & has a brass roller buckle & brass snap with plenty of room to make longer. Sides measure approx 16” long not including center heart or tugs. Tugs have been shortened so ends cut straight & brass snaps added. Adjustment buckles are brass roller buckles. Quality leather similar to older Billy Cook, Billy Royal, etc, but can't find any maker mark. Do not know if this is an older vintage piece or something someone had made, but looks like something used by cavalry or civil war reenactors. Brass hardware all have green spots on them, brass heart has some shiny spots & some not so shiny spots & gaps on brass heart edges that show have a hard glue like Gorilla Glue, but otherwise this is in excellent used condition with supple quality leather.

Browband style Western headstall with doubled & stitched scalloped cheeks & browband with fancy etched "silver” heart conchos & fancy etched "silver” buckles. Cheeks adjust on both sides with 5 factory punched holes & measures approx 42" at largest & 35" at smallest adjustment. Comes with matching reins 5/8" wide x almost 7' long that are doubled & stitched for 1st 18". Also has matching western breast collar with scalloped doubled & stitched leather with darkened & rubbed edges, & etched "silver" heart concho trim. Chest strap measures 16 1/2” long not including hardware or tugs. Great for show, pleasure or work. Leather is supple with a few scuffs or scrapes, snap at girth is a bit stiff but works, & breastcollar hardware has minor rust or corrosion. Overall set is in very good used condition. Brand unknown.

Black biothane synthetic 5/8” wide western breast collar, endurance breastcollar or English breast plate. Conway buckle adjustment on both ends & with snap at girth end. Adjustable tugs back to saddle & adjustable strap that attaches to girth. Good trail, endurance or schooling breast collar. Conway buckle & snap have some corrosion & 1 adjustable tug replaced with similar color nylon tug. Tried for fit on a 14.2H Arab & it fit fine, so made for smaller horse, cob or large pony. Easy to make side straps shorter by either punching more holes or cutting ends of straps off. Easy to add snaps to these ends to. Great lightweight breast plate for endurance riders, just wipes clean!

Comes with matching adjustable roping or gaming reins, a little over 6’ long with Conway buckle on 1 end & trigger or scissor snap at other end, single link curb chain, tiedown noseband & adjustable tie down strap with snap ends. Also comes with matching breastcollar with adjustable tugs, adjustable strap to girth with spring snap, tiedown guide/ring & lined with white hospital felt.
