Vintage? Don Vack Boy Plowing Framed Print Learning To Plow Lithograph Penn Dutch Barn Amish Draft Horse Mule In Harness Artwork

This framed print is of a pair of young Amish boys & their draft horses & mule in harness plowing in front of a stone barn with Penn Dutch symbols on the side. Title to this print is Boy Plowing & is identical to Learning To Plow except this one has the Penn Dutch symbols & Learning To Plow does not. Don Vack & Boy Plowing printed in white letters in bottom left hand corner. Image itself is 24” wide x 18” high, & is mounted on white foam board inside a dark brown wood frame. Frame measures 28” wide x 22” high, & has no brackets on back for hanging. Lovely addition to collectors of Penn Dutch, mule or draft horse prints. Excellent condition with only a fewdings to frame & is missing 3 metal tabs on back for holding image inside frame.

Made in the 1960's, there was a series of cat & dog prints with oversized eyes, named Pity Kitty or Pity Puppy, & signed by Gig. This framed print is of a dark grey/black tabby with white, with oversized eyes looking pitiful on a city street corner. Image itself is 8” wide x 12” high, has a white border, & is inside a medium brown wood frame with painted gold trim interior border. Frame measures 13” wide x 17” high, & has wire on back for hanging. Printed on cardboard back is 2089 w Tg, 5909, 10x14, L Ambert. in center & 2089(print number?) D1 2.99(price?) in top right hand corner. Lovely addition to collectors of GIG Pity Kitty prints. Cleaned face of glass but looks like inside of glass needs to be cleaned &/or the print has some age spots. Frame looks to be in excellent shape, but carboard on back(not attached to print) has age spots & tiny nails on back for holding image inside frame look rusty.

This framed print is of an orange tiger tabby with white, with oversized eyes looking pitiful in a hole in the fence by a No Dumping sign. Image itself is 8” wide x 12” high, has a white border, & is inside a medium brown wood frame with painted gold trim interior border. Frame measures 13” wide x 17” high, & has wire on back for hanging. Printed on cardboard back is 2089 w Tg, 5909, 10x14, L Ambert. in center & 2089(print number?) D1 2.99(price?) in top right hand corner. Lovely addition to collectors of GIG Pity Kitty prints. Cleaned face of glass but looks like inside of glass needs to be cleaned &/or the print has some age spots.
