5" jointed snaffle bit with sweet iron or black steel mouth piece, & stainless port 7 3/8” shanks(total top to bottom). Mouthpiece measures 5" or 5 1/4" between shanks. This bit offers a shank with wonderful balance. The short purchase coupled with a short shank give it medium control. The smooth thin snaffle adds a little more bite & sweet iron mouth creates a moist, soft mouth for better feel & control. Mullen relief mouthpiece creates even pressure across the bars & tongue to eliminate the nutcracker effect. Light rust to mouthpiece as intended.

5” jointed snaffle mouthpiece inlaid with copper, with pinchless center swivel & 7” slightly turned back shanks. The unique center swivel eliminates pinching of the tongue. Designed to instruct by gentle pressure, not by pain or pain avoidance. Internal bushing on both sides of the mouthpiece junction permits either side of the bit to rotate independently of the other side. Nothing in the mouthpiece will entrap the horses tongue, bruise the horses palate or pinch the horses cheek. As a result, the riders instructions will be perfectly clear and without confusion. Copper inlay helps keep mouth moist & responsive. Good used condition with some chew scratches to mouthpiece, but no rough surfaces. Not marked but should be a Robart Pinchless bit.
