5" Herm Sprenger Turnado 2 Type Snaffle HS Aurigan Loose Ring Snaffle Bit Herm Sprenger, Aurigan, Stainless Steel Herm Sprenger's Turnado bit lies perfectly in the horse's mouth because the mouthpiece is angled forward by 45 degrees. In contrast to other loose ring bits, the aids given with the reins on the Turnado reach the horse's mouth more precisely, but in a soft way. The Turnado is more readily accepted, resulting in prompt & ideal chewing activity. This bit may also help eliminate tongue vices such as putting the tongue over the bit which often stops almost immediately when the Turnado is used. The Turnado 2-Type adds to the features of the original Turnado which is an eggbutt bit with loose rings that works to combine the advantages of a loose ring snaffle and the lateral contact of an eggbutt. Due to the eggbutt shape at the mouthpiece it is gentle on the corners of the mouth while the anatomically formed mouthpiece lies perfectly in the mouth to maintain only extremely gentle pressure and precise rein aids.
